Ariadne is a Goddess of Crete, daughter of King Minos and wife of Dionysus. She is known for her hand in the slaying of the Minotaur by helping the Hero Theseus navigate his way out of the labyrinth. She is a symbol of rebirth, transformation and as the wife of Dionysus, fertility and harvest.
This incense blend, inspired by Ariadne’s origins in Crete, is a sacred, garden blend of ancient herbs and mediterranean cade wood. It smells like tending a garden outside an ancient temple and collecting herbs under the warm sun.
